Angiomas are benign tumors derived from blood vessels or lymphatic vessels. They commonly appear as tiny red, blue, or purple spots on the skin. They are typically harmless but may be removed for cosmetic or discomfort reasons. Treatments for angiomas include laser therapy, which uses intense light to target and diminish the vessels, and electrocauterization, which uses electric current to remove the growths effectively.
